(Please NOTE: This class has been approved by New York State for 22.5 continuing education credits for appraisers and brokers alike BUT it is open to anyone and does not require any previous knowledge of investment analysis. MUST bring a Hewlett Packard HP12-C financial Calculator. Class will be held every Tuesday and Thursday from 6:30pm-9:30pm for 3 consecutive weeks.)
Taught by industry appraisal expert Peter von Nessi, this course is essential for anyone who is interested in seriously analyzing investment properties. Mr. von Nessi has either evaluated or sold over 5,000 New York properties representing over $800,000,000 in value in all five (5) boroughs as well as Nassau and Suffolk counties.
The methods taught are fundamental for anyone who wants to know about investing in real estate for its dividend and capital gain potential. As part of the course, students are taught to analyze any type of rental or lease situation they might encounter. The course also teaches the ins and outs of mortgage financing, origination points, present and future value and how to determine affordability and monthly payments.
